From Beginners Basics
to Advanced Techniques

I offer
lessons custom designed to suit the individual creative spirit of my clients. Your
newly acquired skills will help you achieve a beautiful work of art that you
would be proud of.
You are most welcome to bring your own bits and pieces
to class. For example, you might have an old piece of jewellery that you wish
to transform into something new.
Please
arrive a few minutes earlier on the first visit – a cup of coffee always goes
down well and it gives us an opportunity to get to know each other a little
before class.
What I need to know before you come to class
* Have you
made jewellery before? * Do you have
a specific technique or design in mind?
This gives
me an idea of how to structure your class to make it enjoyable within your
current skill level.
If you love a design , but have never done wire work before I do suggest you do a custom tailored to your needs
basic techniques class with me : with that said I will only focus on
the basic skills required for you to comfortably manage the desired
design you wish to make in the end.
If this is
a new
venture for you, and you would
like to create an item to take home within the hour, I suggest you start with a
pair of earrings. Many basic and very necessary techniques are used to create a
pair of earrings. These techniques are also used in larger projects which can
be attempted when you become more confident.
The ‘Basic Wire Techniques’ class is also a great entry into the art of
jewellery making.
Tuition Fees
Single
person: $30 an hour.
Please note
: There is an additional charge for any beads you may want, extra wire apart from what is already given to learn with during class and findings used during
a lesson.
Creativity
is allowing yourself to make mistakes.
Art is knowing which ones to keep.

* Class Schedule * My class open times don’t
change within a term but they vary in availability from week to week depending on session times booked. When you decide to make a booking for a
specific day , I will let you know which time slots are available for that day in
question. I will book you in once your booking has been confirmed.
You are welcome to book 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours with me at a time. @ $30 per hour. Should you require an 1.5h it will cost $45 for eg. - If you book a 3 - 4 hour session with me a deposit of $60 will be required.
- Any Cancellations need to be made 24 hours before your class time.
- If
"there is a no show " please understand that you booked a class time
which someone else really wanted and I therefore charge you 50% charge
of the hours you booked. (if you canceled your class with me in a
reasonable time frame this charge does not apply)
Open time schedule. Monday - Friday : 9.30am - 2pm Saturday - Sunday : 11am - 4pm
