 Many thanks to Val and Sabrina from Val Cox USA for
the permission to use their photos to promote Val Cox Frit and to have the
rights to sell their fabulous product throughout NZ. This 96coe
frit works with coes of 90, or 104. The higher concentration of metal
oxides and lead in this furnace blown glass provides elasticity and
workability with other soft glass bases in flameworking.
When using a
base other than 96coe, simply use less than 5% frit to the total weight
of the bead.
When using coe96 glass for instance: Like Gaffer or other, The 5% rule falls away and you can use the Val Cox Frit in abundance. :) :) :) In saying that, You do not need much frit whist creating your lampwork bead... the saying : a little goes a long way holds much truth . The original Val Cox Ample Samples offer you AMPLE to created heaps and heaps of beads.  |
